American FootGolf League
AboutThe AFGL helps you introduce FootGolf. We supply the official equipment, guidance on course design, and marketing. The AFGL is the governing body for the sport of FootGolf in the US under the FIFG.
Founded in 2011, the American FootGolf League (AFGL) is the U.S. exclusive member of the Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG.ORG). The American FootGolf League is developing the necessary structure to promote the sport of FootGolf across the country. FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. The game is played with a regulation #5 soccer ball at a golf course facility on shortened holes with 21-inch diameter cups located yards away from golf greens. The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf. Our vision is to utilize real golf courses, supporting the golf industry and to develop the sport. In order to be accredited with the American FootGolf League, FootGolf courses must have 9 or 18 holes, designed in collaboration with the AFGL. When you join with the AFGL to develop your FootGolf course, you will be assured that you are starting on the right foot. You will have available to you all of our information and resources to help you build your course using the standards of the FIFG. You will know that the design of your course, the rules and the regulations you use are in compliance with the development of this sport around the world. The American FootGolf League can help you introduce FootGolf at your Course. We have available for order all the supplies needed to set up a FootGolf course on your existing golf course.
