Porous Pave Inc
For over 15-years, Porous Pave, Inc., based in Grant, Michigan has been providing a unique paving alternative to the construction industry consisting of a rubber, aggregate and proprietary liquid binder surface material for landscape settings that resists freeze and thaw cycles, heaving, cracking, crumbling, and is slip resistant. Porous Pave is a slip resistant, permeable and flexible paving treatment that is mixed on-site and poured in place and is offered in a variety of colors.
Over the last several years, a formulation of Porous Pave was developed called Sand Guard to serve the golf industry offering an effective, permeable, durable and long-lasting bunker liner alternative. Sand Guard’s unmatched 27 percent void space allows 5,800 gallons of water per hour per square foot to drain through. This premier Bunker Lining System is a low impact, non-invasive installation process that holds sand in place and helps prevent bunker sand contamination. The installation of Sand Guard does not require heavy equipment and does not significantly disrupt play.
Together, Porous Pave and Sand Guard are permeable solutions to help manage and improve the quality of your cart path paving and bunker liner solutions.

Why Porpous Pave?
"In addition to permeability and walking surface comfort and safety, we needed a strong paving material that can hold up against periodic flooding.”- Horace Aikman, Sr. Associate, CRJA-IBI Group, Boston Landscape Architect, Wellesley Office Park Walking Path
"We recently renovated one of our bunkers using the Sand Guard liner as a test and it has exceeded my expectations. Prep work for the bunker was easy and standard. The bunker has performed flawlessly with our heavy, frequent Florida summer rains with no sand movement and extremely quick drainage. I would strongly recommend the Sand Guard liner for your bunkers.” - Greg Ethridge, Director of Grounds Management, Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country Club – Fort Myers, Florida
