These split, or fold-down, windshields are designed to fit gas and electric Precedent model Club Car golf carts made from 2004 to present. We offer them here in either a clear or tinted version, as well as in acrylic or polycarbonate (lexan). The tinted split windshield is shown here. Lexan is less likely to break or crack than acrylic, but it is more prone to scratch. If you drive your golf cart on the golf course, we recommend that you purchase the lexan version.
This split windshield is made in the U.S.A. by Tampa G Manufacturing Company, which has over 35 years of experience in manufacturing aftermarket golf cart products and accessories. This windshield is unique in that the black hinge has a lifetime guarantee. Windshield hinges tend to crack and break, due to wear and weather, and are not sold separately. To replace it, a whole new windshield would have to be purchased. With these windshields, the company will replace the damaged hinge free of all but the shipping costs.
